Toddler Classes Ages 2-3

Creative Dance for 2's & 3's

This class offers a great introduction to the basics of ballet and other dance styles by teaching through creative movement and imaginative story-telling. Great for our baby ballerinas to be! This class runs from August - May with a final recital performance in May.

This class serves as a preparation class before registering for our Core Level Package. This particular age group will be accompanied with their teacher during the recital performance. This is a one hour class, once a week. A huge plus about this class is that we keep the class size small with a ratio of 6 students to 2 teachers. Therefore, there are multiple options for class time during the week. Please call for more details.

NEW! Preschool Acrobatics

This is a great prep class for students in the Core Level Package that are planning on continuing a focus in acrobatics. This class mainly focuses on the basic skills and first steps in acrobatics while building core strength in our baby acrobats.

NEW! Preschool Acrobatics: For ages 3-4
This is a great prep class for students in the Core Level Package that are planning on continuing a focus in acrobatics. This class mainly focuses on the basic skills and first steps in acrobatics while building core strength in our baby acrobats.

This class also includes creative movement activities that work to build strength. This is a great choice for students that have already graduated from our Creative Dance program and are planning on enrolling into Level 1 as well. This class is only offered mid-day on Thursdays from 12:30-1:30PM starting in August and continuing through May. Possible recital performance with this class.
Price: $45/month, $40/month for students also enrolling into Level 1

Level 1 - Ages 3.5 to 5.5

Level 2 - Ages 5.5 to 6.5

Level 3 - Ages 7 to 9

Focus is still is ballet, tap, and jazz.

Concentrated Classes (Ages 6 and Up)

Clogging & Mini Clogging

Students must be at least 6 years of age to enroll. It is encouraged that students take at least one to two years in the Core Level Package before enrolling into Clogging unless given permission otherwise due to previous dance experience. Students will be placed into appropriate skill level by the instructor/staff at AIM.

Acrobatics & Tumbling

Students must be in Kindergarten and up or the equivalent age requirement to enroll. If younger, these students must enroll in Preschool Acrobatics class. It is very important that students who enroll in this class have previously attended dance classes

and are more than adequate in following directions or procedures. Safety is our number one concern in this class! Special permission will be made for students who meet these guidelines for the class. Please call for more details regarding enrollment for this class. This class is a great choice for any dancers who wish to expand on the basic acrobatic skills that are taught in the Core Level Package. Students will work on building their core strength while executing acrobatic and tumbling tricks. This class will range in age but students will be grouped according to skill level for each class. They will progress through the year with their group and work on appropriate tricks for their group's skill level. This class will also benefit their dance performance on stage as well! Students will be placed in Level I if they are a beginner tumbler, students will be placed into Level II if they have a GOOD cartwheel that meets our staff’s approval and students will be placed into Level III if they have a back walkover that meets our staff’s approval.

Hip Hop & Mini Hip Hop

It is encouraged that students take at least one to two years in the Core Level Package before enrolling int Hip Hop unless given permission otherwise due to previous dance experience. This class is dedicated to only teaching hip hop and is suitable for students who have a strong interest in this style of dance. Come learn some of America's hottest and newest dance moves! This class meets for one hour, once a week.

Jazz

Musical Theatre/Mini Musical Theatre

Students will learn about different musicals, and dance to fun combinations to each musical! Students also play fun theatre games and act out scenes from musicals as well. This class gives students a chance to open up and interact with each other while becoming quite the "triple threat!" This class meets for one hour, once a week.
